The aim of the course is to inculcate good leadership and management skills to all our graduands, these skills are vital ingredients for a working nation as enshrined in Kenya’s Vision 2030. The course is also meant to give graduands an opportunity to explore and challenge their leadership skills beyond academic work. For this reason the programme engages a mode of delivery that enhances the theory and practice of transformational leadership, good governance and related practice. The mode of delivery is course work, examination and opportunities for students to practice acquired leadership skills through planned formal and informal interactions with peers. The course, which leads to certification, is implemented through a regular, well designed and coordinated training process.
A number of external guests have been invited to train our students. This has given our students the practical feel and approach to challenges and/or issues affecting them as young leaders.
